Mahesh
Babu
and
A
R
Murugadoss'
100
Crore
project,
which
has
of
late
become
the
most
talked
about
project
in
the
South,
is
gearing
up
to
be
launched
in
April.
Apparently,
Nithya
Menen
was
approached
for
a
role
in
the
movie,
but,
to
the
surprise
of
many
in
the
industry,
she
has
reportedly
denied
the
offer.
When
we
tried
to
probe
further
into
it,
she
was
unavailable
to
reveal
any
details.
However,
Nithya
was
quoted
by
a
popular
daily,
saying
she
prefers
to
go
by
her
character's
importance
in
the
script
and
not
by
the
star
or
the
director.
"Star
heroes
take
heroines
for
granted.
Heroines
in
their
films
are
restricted
only
for
glamour
show
and
few
songs",
Nithya
reportedly
said.
"I
followed
a
strict
formula
till
now
in
career.
I
take
up
only
those
projects,
which
not
only
have
a
strong
story,
script
and
also
should
be
equipped
with
strength
in
heroine
characterization.
I
stood
on
my
opinion
till
date
and
will
continue
to
be
the
same",
she
further
added.
Though
this
might
not
go
well
with
the
fans
of
the
star
or
with
the
industry
circles,
we
must
notice
that
Nithya
always
had
her
own
reservations.
