It was a great sight to witness Akkineni Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati and Akhil in a frame, during the CCL finale match, that happened yesterday in Hyderabad. The view not only added an extra excitement in us for the match, but has also got us craving for more.

Especially, when all these stars from the two most popular families of the tinsel town, have many things in common, including their chilled out personalities, it is not too much to wish, seeing them together on-screen. Hope some good writer or director is reading this!

On the other hand, the sixth season of Celebrity Cricket League 2016 saw defending champions, Telugu Warriors defeating the two-times CCL winners, Karnataka Bulldozers, in an interesting match.

Telugu Warriors lifted the cup for the second time in the captaincy of Akhil Akkineni and the team won it back to back in 2015 and 2016, joining the likes of Chennai Rhinos, who won in 2011 and 2012 and Karnataka Bulldozers, who got it in 2013 and 2014.

With stars like Nagarjuna and Venkatesh, backing the team like a strong source of encouragement, there was no looking back for the boys in the ground. Venkatesh was the captain of the team for four seasons, but has handed over the responsibility to Akhil, later. However, he acted as a huge pillar of strength for the team as a mentor and his celebrations at the ground, along with his gang of boys in red, is what that has got our complete attention.
