Baahubali 2 Box Office: 10 Days Collections!

There is no stopping Baahubali 2's collections! The unstoppable force which has sent spine chilling feel amongst the trade analysts, has now officially inaugurated the 1000 Cr club at the Indian box office and thus becoming the very first Indian movie to achieve the rare feat.

The movie is expected to gross a total of 1250 Cr with ease and has all chances of closing its total collection worth between 1300-1500Cr.

The movie has entered into the profit zone in all areas and is just raining stacks of cash on the roofs of respective distributors. The path-breaking movie has grossed a figure of 102 Cr in Andhra region with Ceeded contributing 29 Cr, Nizam chipping in with close to 70 Cr and thus taking the tally to slightly over 200 Cr in AP/TS circuit itself.

Never in the history of Tollywood has any movie earned a gross value of 200 Cr with its worldwide release, while Baahubali 2 has managed to get the said amount within AP/TS regions in a span of 10 days.

The scenario is no different in the neighbouring states. Karnataka, which is the second home for Telugu movie market has contributed with over 75 Cr till date, while Tamil Nadu takes its tally to 83 Cr and Kerala standing with a massive figure of 42 Cr considering its limited market.

However, it's the north Indian market which has generated massive revenue surpassing even the Telugu states collections. Baahubali 2 became the first movie to nett over 300 Cr within a span of 10 days by surpassing the previous best of Dangal's 300 Cr which took 12 Days. The movie has grossed an unimaginable 458 Cr in the North Indian region alone which is higher than the likes of many of Khans' and Kumars' movies.

The USA was deemed as one of the major markets of the movie since the first part of the franchise had earned USD7 M which was massive for any South Indian movie. The second part of Baahubali was sold at an exorbitant price of USD7 M and the movie now stands with a gigantic figure of USD 16 M in the US region.

Dangal, which held the No 1 crown with a colossal figure of USD 12 M, was dismantled by Baahubali 2 and is still going strong in the North American circuits.

Rest of world figures sums up to 87 Cr which is a serious belting by the movie to the box office as Telugu movies don't command a unanimous market outside AP, KA and the US markets.

The total movie, with a four digit gross value now stands at 1050 Cr and the distributor's share itself is over a gargantuan figure of 530 Cr.

With Baahubali franchise doing phenomenal business consisting of astronomical figures, one could see this as a door opener with never seen before market for upcoming movies of Mahesh Babu, Jr. NTR, Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Bunny, Charan etc. to score more and more both in domestic and international circuits.
