It's
time
for
some
waves,
and
a
tsunami
of
records
at
the
box
office.
The
biggest
movie
of
Indian
cinema
in
terms
of
revenue
generation,
even
before
its
release
has
started
creating
records
at
the
pre-biz
and
booking
arenas.
The
SS
Rajamouli
directorial
magnum
opus,
Bahubali
2:
The
Conclusion
has
set
some
straight
records
and
has
as
well
made
it
a
gigantic
task
for
the
upcoming
movies
to
touch
its
mammoth
records.
If
Bahubali
1:
The
Beginning
earned
an
overall
share
of
302
Crores
WW
with
a
gross
value
of
close
to
600
Cr,
the
pre-release
business
of
Bahubali
2
has
touched
a
whopping
500
Cr
which
includes
that
of
theatrical
cost,
satellite
value,
audio,
VR,
animated
series
and
books
etc.
The
humongous
theatrical
value
of
AP/TG
circuit
alone
is
estimated
at
122
Cr
which
is
highest
ever
for
any
Indian
movie
in
a
single
state.
Digging
upon
certain
trade
facts,
no
Telugu
movie's
entire
pre-release
business
has
touched
the
said
amount.
Though
there
were
talks
of
forming
a
committee
to
cap
ticket
prices
in
the
AP
region,
distributors
of
the
said
region
for
BB2
have
got
the
government
convinced
to
action
upon
the
plan
post
the
epic
movie.
The
movie
is
seemed
to
set
another
record
of
embracing
6
shows
a
day
in
AP
and
5
shows
a
day
in
TS
for
the
first
three
days.
The
Karnataka
region's
rights
stands
at
36
Cr
and
the
distributors
are
confident
of
recovering
the
cost
since
the
first
part
of
the
franchise
had
collected
a
share
of
40Cr.
With
the
hype
and
hoola
and
the
being
a
summer
release
without
any
stiff
competition
from
other
big
releases,
the
movie
is
expected
to
rake
in
the
required
amount.
It
has
also
been
confirmed
that,
the
visual
extravaganza
has
got
itself
a
distinction
of
enjoying
the
widest
ever
release
in
the
state
with
Bangalore
alone
screening
the
movie
in
850
odd
screens
surpassing
the
previous
best
of
Kabali's
580
odd
screens.
If
Tamil
Nadu
theatricals
are
estimated
at
47
Cr
then
the
Kerala
region
has
purchased
it
for
11
Cr
which
is
still
the
highest
for
any
dubbed/non-Malayalam
movie.
Tamil
Nadu
could
well
be
a
major
contributor
as
the
movie
franchise
consists
of
actors
such
as
Ramya
Krishnan,
Nasser,
Satyaraj
etc.,
who
are
Tamil
actors
and
the
other
lead
characters
are
well-known
in
the
Kollywood
circle.
The
rest
of
the
India
and
rest
of
world
theatrical
rights
are
sold
at
90
Cr
but
its
North
America
zone
(USA
and
Canada)
which
is
sold
at
a
monstrous
44
Cr.
Part
1
had
raked
in
a
gargantuan
7
M
USD
and
the
makers
seem
to
be
pretty
confident
that
the
most
expected
movie
of
the
year
could
be
the
first
flick
to
earn
a
gross
figure
of
10
M
USD.
The
Telugu
and
Tamil
satellite
rights
are
sold
at
28
Cr
combined,
whilst
the
Hindi
price
of
the
same
stands
at
a
colossal
50
Cr.
With
such
massive
business
figures
involved,
the
movie
is
required
to
fetch
in
over
360
Cr
to
attain
the
hit
status
at
the
box
office
and
a
massive
number
of
over
540
Cr
worldwide
share
to
carry
the
tag
of
"a
blockbuster".
