Cinema
is
now
witnessing
a
huge
change
in
terms
of
business
aspects.
Gone
are
the
days
when
movies
used
to
complete
and
celebrate
100-175
days
in
cinema
halls.
The
business
of
cinema
has
now
come
to
a
7
day
box
office.
Only
an
extremely
well-crafted
cinema
enjoys
an
unprecedented
long
run.
Cinema
with
big
stars
gets
wider
release
and
is
in
a
situation
to
get
60-70%
of
the
invested
money
in
its
initial
weekend.
So,
the
more
audience
you
command,
the
more
business
you
get
and
a
wider
opening
you
enjoy.
Of
late,
this
seems
to
be
the
mantra
being
chanted
by
some
of
the
T-Town
stars.
Switch
the
story
to
its
K-Town
counterparts,
both
Rajinikanth
and
Kamal
Hassan
were
successful
in
establishing
a
huge
market
in
all
four
southern
states,
some
part
of
north
and
the
overseas.
Suriya
is
the
only
probable
star
of
this
generation
who
has
captured
market
grip
overall
like
the
former
stars.
At
present,
it
is
Rajini
and
Suriya
who
enjoys
overall
popularity
from
Kollywood.
A
similar
move
is
being
attempted
from
two
of
the
Tollywood
stars.
Mahesh
Babu
who
was
the
first
Telugu
star
to
open
wider
market
doors
overseas
with
Athadu
and
Allu
Arjun
who
was
the
first
one
to
knock
at
the
doors
of
God's
own
country,
Kerala,
are
now
stepping
their
foot
into
Tamil
soil.
Both
Mahesh
Babu
and
Allu
Arjun
enjoys
decent
popularity
pan
India
wide
as
their
names
and
have
been
registered
in
the
minds
of
audience
through
social
media.
Now
is
the
time
for
them
to
extend
the
fame
to
box
office
prospects.
Mahesh
Babu
who
has
joined
hands
with
AR
Murugadoss
for
his
upcoming
Tamil-Telugu
Bilingual
will
see
a
massive
release
in
Tamil
Nadu
as
well.
The
makers
have
roped
in
both
technicians
and
cast
from
either
industries
to
fit
the
nativity
and
connectivity
with
either
audiences.
Mahesh
who
is
already
a
distinctively
known
face
amongst
Tamil
urban
youth
via
social
media,
is
trying
to
set
a
strong
foot
into
the
Tamil
filmdom.
One
can
expect
a
200
Cr
grosser
with
the
help
of
positive
word
of
mouth
post
release
of
the
movie.
Allu
Arjun,
who
has
airm
grip
over
the
market
of
AP/Telangana,
Karnataka
and
Kerala
will
shortly
be
establishing
himself
with
the
N.Lingusamy
directorial
venture.
This
Tamil-Telugu
bilingual
project
will
go
on
floors
post
Duvvada
Jagannadham
completion,
which
should
ideally
set
tone
for
Arjun's
market
expansion.
One
must
acknowledge
the
fact
that
Tamil
Industry
is
the
second
biggest
domestic
market
in
South
India
and
with
Rajamouli's
magical,
Bahubali
being
given
a
solid
opening
market
for
Telugu
dubbed
movies
in
Tamil
Nadu,
now
with
both
Mahesh
and
Bunny
coming
up
with
almost
direct
movies,
one
can
hope
for
a
warm
reception
from
Tamil
fans
which
in
turn
paves
path
for
fellow
actors
to
follow
the
route.
