Will SS Rajamouli Direct Superstar Rajinikanth?

SS Rajamouli is deemed as the Pride Of Tollywood and the biggest revenue generator of the industry. Not only is he basking in the success of Baahubali 2, but is as well enjoying some never seen or heard before accolades from various cine industries across the nation.

The ace director, who is on a travel for the movie promotions, was seen giving an interview in London to BBC, one of the biggest broadcasting channels in the world.

One of the prestigious cinema halls in London, which screens just Hollywood and Bollywood movies, broke the pattern and now is said to be screening Baahubali 2, which is a Tollywood movie.

The trendsetting director along with the female lead, Anushka Shetty, quoted some interesting updates on the movie in a 22-minute-long interview and one bit of the interview would definitely bring in smile and eagerness amongst fans.

The interviewer, who was reading out questions from the social media fans, posed one such question to the lavish film-maker about making a movie with Superstar Rajinikanth. A brief excerpt (as it is) of the said topic's proceedings.

Reporter: Rajinikanth is, may be the biggest Superstar on the planet. He is a south Indian actor and in India, if his films are released, a national holiday is being declared as people know that nobody is going to turn up to work anyway as they are going to go to watch his films. Have you thought about collaborating with Rajinikanth? And, how did you feel when Rajinikanth tweeted about the film?

Rajamouli: Ah fantastic! Rajinikanth is a personification of humility. He is a big star, a huge star. People just die to see him and that kind of a star he is and receiving accolades from that kind of a star was so overwhelming. To make a film with him would be a dream come true for any director and I am no exception. But I always believe that it is the story which should drive you to get the right casting. If a story inspires me to make a movie with him, I would be the happiest man on the planet.

Even in earlier instances, Rajamouli was caught with fanboy moments where he heaped praises on the legendary Superstar in a couple of occasions.

Recollecting an incident which happened a year ago, during his interaction with IIT students in Chennai, an enthusiastic student conveyed his eagerness for a possible SSRK-SSR (Super Star Rajinikanth-SS Rajamouli) combo to which the director responded in a typical filmy manner.

Rajamouli said that the movie if materialises would be made in such a magnitude that the audience in the theatre would not have an option of listening to the dialogues for the first 10 days as it would just be whistles, applauses, hysterical screams and celebrations that could be seen and witnessed.

Premam fame, director Alphonse Puthren, took to his Facebook account and requested SS Rajamouli to make a movie with Thalaivaa which could fetch in enough potential to bring down the Box Office records of Avatar movie as well (It was seen as a die-hard fan's request).
Well, it's a wish from any movie fan to see the giant powerhouses of Indian cinema to join hands for another colourful canvas on the celluloid screen.
