Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi To Feature This Popular Actress In An Important Role?

Mahesh Babu's Maharshi is one of the much-awaited movies in Telugu and the teaser of the film, which was released on Mahesh Babu's birthday had further spiked the interest on the film. The actor will be seen essaying a character named Rishi in the movie and the new getup of Mahesh Babu has definitely been accepted by the audiences.

Now, a major update regarding the star cast of the film has surfaced on the internet. According to a recent report by Times Of India, popular actress Jaya Prada has been roped in to play an important role in the movie. According to the reports, Jaya Prada will be seen essaying the role of Mahesh Babu's mother in Maharshi.

As you all know, Jaya Prada is a well-known face in Telugu films and she was one of the actresses who ruled the Telugu cinema, especially in the 1970s and 1980s. The actress was previously seen in Telugu in the film Maharathi, which had hit the theares in the year 2008.

Meanwhile, the shoot of the Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is progressing. The film is expected to be a family entertainer and the movie has been touted to release on April 9, 2018. Reportedly, popular actress Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the role of the leading lady in this much-awaited venture. Maharshi is being directed by hit film-maker Vamshi Paidippally.
