7/G Brundavan Colony 4K Twitter Review: Cult Musical Love Story Fans Relish Enhanced Theatrical Experience

Amid enthusiasm and cheers, the epic cult film, 7/G Brundavan Colony, a musical love story hit the screens in the two Telugu states in a 4K version on September 22. Fans are having a euphoric experience of watching it on the big screen after about 19 years.

7/G Brundavan Colony was originally released in 2004 as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. The movie featured newcomers as the lead pair with Selvaraghavan at the helm of affairs. Ravi Krishna received the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award and Yuvan Shankar Raja was awarded the Filmfare Best Music Director Award for 7/G Brindavan Colony.

Joining the trend of the re-release films in Telugu, 7/G Brindavan colony makers retouched the film in a 4K version to give this generation a fresh experience of such a love story on the big screen. They organized an event in Hyderabad on the occasion. A sequel was announced to the film recently.

Ravi is a good-for-nothing guy who neglects career, and education, and always wants to spend time with his friends from the same apartment in Brundavan Colony. He wants to fall in love and one fine day, Anita, a well-to-do and highly ambitious girl moves in with her family. Ravi falls head-over-heels in love with Anita, who resists him at first for his waywardness. However, slowly Anita begins to take a liking for Ravi. Meanwhile, trouble brews, and things take an unfortunate turn leaving Ravi disturbed and illusioned for life.
