Prabhas Becomes India's First Hero To Achieve Rs 100 Crore In The Opening Day For Three Films

Prabhas has become a sensation in the country and overseas with SS Rajamouli's magnum opus film Baahubali. The movie was a trendsetter and set a new wave in the Indian cinema. For the film's sequel, Prabhas became a pan-India star with a global image and stardom.

Baahubali 2, and Prabhas' immediate film after Baahubali sequel, Sahoo by Sujeeth, and now Adipurush. These three movies earned about Rs 100 Crore on the opening day worldwide.

Adipurush, which was released on June 16 all over the world is now a meme-material. The pan-India movie was made on a budget of Rs 500 Crore but came out a laughing stock.

Upon its theatrical release, the makers have been criticized for their poor depiction of the Ramayana tale, the Hindu mythological epic.

From the subpar VFX to the film's dark mode to cover up the flaws, poor dialogue writing, inappropriate casting, lack of emotional connection with the viewer, being far away from the original tale, and a lot of imaginative/creative freedom ruined one of the costliest films made in India.

Here's a list of India's top 1st weekend worldwide collection (First weekend/ First three days), here

Baahubali 2 Worldwide 3 Days Collection: Rs 271.8 Crore (Rs 509 Crore Gross)

Adipurush was widely promoted as a movie that will uplift the sentiments and beliefs of Hindu mythology. The filmmakers even shared that they want the young generation to learn about the mighty Ramayana.
