In 2022-2023, Anupama had four successful releases in Telugu. She was the female lead actress in Rs 100 Crore film Karthikeya 2, starring Nikhil Siddhartha. In addition, '18 Pages' was also released and met with a positive response at the box office. Her OTT release Butterfly brought appreciation to the actress for her performance.

After making her acting debut with Premam in 2015, the actress made her Telugu debut with Trivikram Srinivas' 'A Aa.' She later reprised her role in Telugu Premam. In a couple of films she carefully chose, Anupama earned appreciation and garnered popularity among Telugu viewers. She played remarkable roles in Sathamanam Bhavati, Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, Rakshasudu, Ante Sundaraniki, Krishnarjuna Yudham, etc.

Recently, the actress spoke about her fears and misconceptions during the early days of her career. She was quoted saying "I was skeptical and feared judgment from people and fans. Although I wanted to take up many roles that were offered to me, I was afraid of what fans might think about me. After starring in Freedom at Midnight, all my fears vanished. Now I make better decisions and pick roles that I want to try and explore."

Anupama further added, "Due to the fear, I had to let go of characters that I liked. But I want to play many experimental roles. I am now more focused than before and will take up characters that challenge me."

Anupama Parameswaran will be next seen in a Tamil film titled Siren, and another Malayalam film titled JSK Truth Shall Always Prevail. Both these films are under filming. In addition, Anupama is the leading lady in the much-awaited sequel of Siddhu Jonalagadda's DJ Tillu sequel titled Tillu Square.
