Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a success streak. The veteran of the Tollywood industry is in no mood to slow down after his back-to-back films that are setting fire to the box office and his previous records.

Balakrishna's latest film is Bhagavanth Kesari, the action drama written and directed by Anil Ravipudi. After Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy, the actor collaborated with Anil, who knows no flops in his career.

The veteran actor has always considered a competition to megastar Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh Daggubati, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. All these four heroes are superstars from the 1980s, since their youthful years. They all followed various paths and continue to enjoy enormous fanbase down south.

Recently, the actor set a new record overseas. With the earnings from Bhagavanth Kesari, Balakrishna became the only actor from the veteran category of Tollywood to have secured a hattrick of USD 1 Million at the USA box office. The other two films are Akhanda directed by Boyapati Srinu and Veera Simha Reddy by Gopichand Malineni.

The movie features Nandamuri Balakrishna as Nelakonda Bhagavanth Kesari, Kajal Aggarwal as Kathyayani, Sreeleela as Vijayalakshmi aka Viji, Priyanka Jawalkar, and John Vijay in the role of Shukla. Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal is making his Tollywood debut with this high-voltage action drama.

The movie is a production venture of Sahu Garapti and Harish Peddi under the Shine Screens banner. C Ramprasad and Tammiraju worked as the film's cinematographer and editor, respectively. S Thaman joined hands once again with NBK for Bhagavanth Kesari's entire soundtrack and music.
