his
demise
and

for
the

Biography
Chandra
Mohan
was
born
as
Mallampalli
Chandrasekhara
Rao
on
1943
May
23
in
Pamidimukkala
village,
Krishna
district,
Andhra
Pradesh.
He
had
two
siblings
a
sister
and
brother
and
finished
his
formal
school
education
in
a
government
school
in
Meduru
village.
Kalatapasvi
K
Viswanath
is
a
maternal
cousin.
He
pursued
a
degree
in
Agriculture
from
a
college
in
Bapatla.
He
came
to
Madras
in
search
of
opportunities
in
Tollywood
and
got
his
break
with
his
first-ever
film
titled
'Rangula
Ratnam.'
The
movie
was
released
in
1966
and
Vanisri
turned
into
a
star
after
the
film's
success.
Not
just
that
but
Chandra
Mohan
also
won
a
Nandi
Award
for
the
same
film.
He
was
best
friends
with
Shobhan
Babu
among
other
actors
in
Tollywood.
