Leo Telugu Box Office Collection: Thalapathy Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Action Film Achieves First Break-Even

Thalapathy Vijay's most prestigious and much-awaited action thriller LEO, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj hit the screens on October 19 worldwide. The movie started setting benchmarks from its advance ticket bookings to opening day collections and now box office records.

Thalapathy Vijay's craze and Lokesh Kanagaraj's impeccable conviction came together for this highly prestigious project titled Leo, coupled with the collaboration of Trisha and Anirudh Ravichander.

Despite mixed reviews, the movie is holding super strong at the ticket windows. Even with several other films in competition, Leo is leading the Dussehra race and emrged as the winner of the festive releases.

Leo Premise

Parthiban is a cafe owner and a wild animal enthusiast. He lives with his wife, a teenage son, and a daughter in a beautiful place. Unfortunately, his photograph on a newspaper sets off a evil pursuit to nab Leo Das. Are Leo Das and Parthiban the same? Who are Antony Das and Harold Das? What happens to Leo Das? How Parthiban comes out of this race? is the crux of Leo.

Leo Achieves Break-Even In Telugu

The movie made a decent pre-release business in the two Telugu-speaking states. It was about Rs 16 Crore. With the kind of opening the movie had, all over the world including the Telugu states, Leo must achieve break-even very soon, which it did. The movie is heading towards a blockbuster. Leo stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, Kiran Rathore, Sandy Master, Babu Antony, George Maryan, and Abhirami Venkatachalam among others in prominent roles.

Leo is produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the Seven Screen Studio banner on a budget of about Rs 300 Crore. Philomin Raj and Manoj Paramahamsa are working as the film's editor and cinematographer. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the entire film's soundtrack and music.
