Power Star Pawan Kalyan's THIS Movie To Have A Pre-Release Event Before Re-Release? Check Out Details
The re-release of Tollywood's star heroes films is in trend big time, in the two Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Several successful movies from the early 1990s to late 2000s are being re-modified and with the help of today's technical brilliance, are hitting the screens to enthrall the fans and viewers of some films which were the industry's successful films.
Starting with Mahesh Babu's 'Pokiri', to the latest RRR star Ram Charan's 'Orange', the re-release trend is catching up and is already a phenomenon. Initially, Orange was a disaster when it was released but the movie gained a cult status. However, when it was released on March 25 on the eve of Ram Charan's birthday, the movie made record bookings and profit.
Chiranjeevi's 'Gang Leader', Jr NTR 'Simhadri', 'Andhra Wala', etc have been re-released, upon fans' demand. The latest film to join the list is none other than Pawan Kalyan's musical hit film 'Gudumba Shankar.'
What is interesting about the same is that the re-release trend will now be taking a back seat for this reason-pre-release event for a re-released film. In all likelihood, there might be a pre-release event before Gudumba Shankar's re-release function. If the buzz is true, this would set a new trend in itself. However, an official confirmation is, however, awaited.
Gudumba Shankar Cast
Along with Pawan Kalyan, the action drama stars Meera Jasmine, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Brahmanandam, Ali, Sunil, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rajan P Dev, Sudeepa Pinky, LB Sriram, Venu Madhav, Tirupathi Prakash and Bhuvaneswari among others in key roles. Model-actress Natanya Singh sizzled in a mass dance number called 'Killi Killi.'
Gudumba Shankar
Gudumba Shankar is directed by Veera Shankar. The film's story and dialogues were written by Satyanand. Pawan Kalyan himself worked on the film's screenplay. Chota K Naidu cranked the camera and Yusuf Khan worked as its editor. The background score and tunes composed by Mani Sharma are quite popular and one of the best music albums in the career of Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan's brother Naga Babu produced the movie under the home banner Anjana Productions.
