Babu
has
been
hospitalised
due
to
a
health
ailment
on
April
22
(Saturday).
He
is
of
age
71.
According
to
latest
reports,
Sarath
Babu
who
has
been
suffering
due
to
a
health
issue
was
hospitalised
a
few
weeks
ago
in
Bengaluru.
He
was
treated
there
and
has
recovered
after
some
time.
As
he
fell
ill
again,
he
was
admitted
to
AIG
Hospitals
in
Hyderabad
for
treatment.
He
has
been
shifted
from
ICU
to
ward.
No
official
announcement
in
this
regard
was
made
by
any
of
the
members
of
Sarath
Babu's
family
so
far.
The
veteran
actor
got
married
recently
to
a
journalist
privately.
Reports
state
that
Sarath
Babu's
health
condition
is
stable
at
present.
Born
as
Sathyam
Babu
Dixithulu
in
Amadalavalasa
of
Andhra
Pradesh,
Sarath
Babu
(stage
name)
entered
the
film
Telugu
film
industry
in
1973
as
an
actor
and
went
on
to
work
for
over
200
films
in
a
career
spanning
40
years.
He
is
known
for
his
roles
in
movies
like
Maro
Charithra,
Idi
Katha
Kadu
and
others.
Sarath
Babu
along
with
Kamal
Haasan
and
Chiranjeevi
were
directed
by
directed
by
K
Balachander
for
Idi
Katha
Kadu
which
was
a
blockbuster
then.
He
acted
as
a
hero
in
several
films
and

played
supporting
roles
in
the
