Tollywood's popular character artist Surekhavani celebrated her birthday recently. The actress, who is 40 plus, is known for looking her daughter's age.

Surekhavani, who got married at an early age to Bandaru Suresh Teja, has a daughter named Supritha. The mother and daughter dish out major goals quite frequently. They dress stylishly and always post reels in which they dance together and party together.

Surekhavani's husband worked in the industry as a cameraman and a director of telefilms. However, due to an illness, he passed away in 2017, leaving Surekhavani and her daughter alone. The couple married against their families' consent.

Ever since her husband's death, Surekhavani's daughter Supritha ensured that she stood by her mom's side. The actress also celebrated her birthday and posted a video on her Instagram, in which she was seen remembering her husband as she stepped into another year.

The actress wrote, "My family #my strength tanq kanna @_supritha_9 for being with me ur the only person who i can share n ups n downs godbless u😍😍 missing ur dad like always let the people talk n enjoy but we will bounce back with more power🤗😜 (sic)."

She also recollected how her husband used to cheer her on birthdays by planning surprises. Surekhavani wrote, "Na kallalo happiness kanna nuvvu levu anna badhe yekkuva chinna but I know ur blessing r always with me i can still remember na every birthday ki nu chese videos and aah hadavidi love u forever n miss u chinna...!😍😍,(sic)."

Many a time, Surekhavani became a subject and target for internet trolls. She was trolled brutally for her fashion choices and lifestyle. The duo often post pictures from pubs wearing mini dresses, drawing flak, and criticism. They go on holidays and share their experiences, which are often discussed. The mother and daughter seem unperturbed by the social media comments and trolling, taking it in their stride.

Meanwhile, Surekhavani has not been active professionally for a while now. The actress recently said that she is only willing to do characters that she feels are worth portraying.

Her daughter Supritha is taking her baby steps in the industry by working as a model and actress in several small, short films etc.
