It is by now a known fact that the duo had their dreamy outfits for the most momentous occasion of their lives, designed by ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra. The duo will tie the knot in an old-fashioned Hindu traditional ritual and their families are sentimental about it.
There were also reports that the groom's father Nagababu insisted that the muhurtham shouldn't be missed for any reason. The bride and groom are therefore told to plan their photoshoots and events accordingly, so as to not miss the time that is set as an auspicious moment for their union.
The three-days wedding festivities kick-started with a welcome cocktail on October 30th and with the wedding reception that will take place tonight on November 1, the #VarunLav mega fat and star-studded wedding concludes. The guests and family members will start flying back to India from November 2. There is a wedding reception scheduled to be held on November 5 in Hyderabad for the film fraternity.

Going by the available information, Varun Tej has opted for a cream-gold Sherwani with a silk dhoti, which will be styled by Ashwin Mawle and Hassan Khan, Tollywood's celebrity stylists. To compliment him and to stand out as a gleaming bride, Lavanya Tripathi is said to have chosen a ruby red-coloured Kanchipuram silk saree, which will have a dreamy personalized veil with 'VarunLav' embroidered on it. Since it is a Telugu wedding, the couple wanted to stick to traditional colours and patterns.
For the reception that follows at night, Varun will change into a Swarovski crystals-embellished tux made by Manish Malhotra again while Lavanya will dress up in striking contrast to his, in an electric blue heavily embellished gown with crystals. The reception outfit is reportedly said to have a dramatic cape that is a highlight. We can't wait to see the new couple in their most blissful state.
The cocktail welcome dinner marked the beginning of the wedding festivities of Varun & Lavanya, who have been in a relationship since 2016. It took the couple several years to convince their parents and kept their love story under wraps until the news about their engagement on June 9 hit the headlines.
The mega family comprising several actors including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Sai Dharam Tej, Vaisshnav Tej, and the Allu family including Allu Arjun, Sirish, Aravind, among others were in full attendance along with their families and children.
In addition, the couple's best friends from the film and fashion industries, actor Nithiin and his wife are also taking part in the events in one of the luxurious resorts in Tuscany, Borgo San Felice.
