Manchu

officially
announced
a
couple
of
days
ago.
Veteran
Manchu
Mohan
Babu
organized
the
special
puja
ceremony
for
the
launch
at
Sri
Kalahasti's
temple.
Vishnu
Manchu,
who
is
also
at
the
helm
of
affairs
of
the
Movie
Artists
Association
(MAA),
will
star
in
the
titular
role
besides
producing
the
movie.
Now,
Vishnu
Manchu
broke
the
news
of
pan-India
star
Prabhas'
inclusion
in
the
cast
of
his
epic
project.
Rumours
suggest
that
Prabhas
will
be
seen
playing
a
cameo
of
Lord
Shiva.
Prabhas,
whose
uncle,
the
late
Krishnam
Raju
rose
to
stardom
with
his
epic
film
Bhakta
Kannappa,
is
ecstatic
to
be
part
of
Vishnu
Manchu's
one
of
his
dream
projects.
Although
Prabhas
is
not
playing
the
role
that
his
uncle
played
then,
he
is
happy
to
be
part
of
this
film.
Back
when
Bhakta
Kannappa
was
released
featuring
Vanisri,
Rao
Gopal
Rao
among
others
in
1976,
M
Balaiah
played
the
role
of
Lord
Shiva.
The
pre-production
works
of
the
project
have
begun
and
the
film's
casting
directors
are
involved
in
roping
in
suitable
actors
for
the
roles.
Kannappa
is
directed
by
Mukesh
Kumar
Singh,
who
helmed
the
popular
Mahabharat
series.
and
produced
by
Ava
Entertainment
and
24
Frames
Factory
banners,
jointly.
Musicians
Mani
Sharma
and
Stephen
Devasi
are
working
on
the
film's
background
score
and
music.
The
40-year-old
actor
was
last
seen
in
a
comedy-thriller
titled
Ginna,
in
which
Sunny
Leone
played
a
key
role.
The
movie
was
released
in
2022.
Prabhas,
on
the
other
hand,
has
several
projects
up
his
sleeve
including
the
much-awaited
Prashanth
Neel's
action-thriller
Salaar
Part
1
Ceasefire.
In
addition,
Nag
Ashwin's
Project
K
aka
Kalki

AD,
and
director
Maruthi's
Raja
Deluxe,
a
comedy-horror.
