Devara
Gets
Delayed:
After
the
success
of
SS
Rajamouli's
RRR,
Jr
NTR
had
multiple
interesting
offers
in
his
hands.
However,
the
actor
is
being
choosy
and
has
signed
only
Devara
and
War
2
so
far.
While
War
2
marks
his
Bollywood
debut,
fans
down
South
are
eagerly
awaiting
the
release
of
Devara.
Directed
by
Koratala
Siva,
Devara:
Part
1
stars
Janhvi
Kapoor
and
Saif
Ali
Khan
alongside
Jr
NTR
and
is
counted
among
the
most-awaited
Telugu
films.
Devara
is
touted
as
an
action
drama,
unfolding
against
the
backdrop
of
India's
overlooked
islands.
The
makers
recently
unveiled
a
video
glimpse
providing
a
sneak
peek
into
the
intense
and
blood-soaked
action
within
the
film.
DEVARA
PART
1
DELAY
REASON
REVEALED
While
Jr
NTR
fans
are
eagerly
awaiting
the
release
of
Devara,
the
latest
buzz
suggests
that
Devara
Part
1
is
getting
delayed.
Yes,
you
read
that
right!
Devara
Part
1
was
scheduled
to
release
in
April
this
year,
however,
reports
now
suggest
that
the
makers
are
going
to
delay
the
release
as
the
project
is
running
behind
the
schedule.
It
is
being
said
that
there
are
several
reasons
behind
the
delay
of
Devara.
The
VFX
process
is
in
full
swing,
but
approximately
20
days
of
shooting
are
still
pending,
with
a
slight
delay
attributed
to
Saif
Ali
Khan's
injury.
Saif
Ali
Khan
takes
on
the
role
of
the
antagonist
in
Devara.
Besides
the
VFX
work,
the
Andhra
Pradesh
Assembly
elections
are
scheduled
to
be
held
in
April
which
may
affect
the
box
office
performance
of
the
film.
Hence,
the
Devara
makers
have
planned
to
postponed
the
much-hyped
project.
While
the
official
confirmation
is
still
awaited,
the
makers
will
reportedly
announce
a
new
release
date
and
it
is
likely
to
hit
the
theatres
in
the
second
half
of
2024.
