Devara Overseas Rights: Jr NTR-Janhvi Kapoor's Actioner Demands A Mammoth Rs 35 Crore? Here's What We Know

Writer-director Koratala Siva is determined to score a humongous blockbuster with Jr NTR's upcoming film titled Devara. The movie's shooting is happening at lightning speed in Hyderabad with the prominent cast in action.

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is making her south-Indian debut with this Telugu film which will be released in two parts, owing to the huge canvas. Another Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan is playing the antagonist's role in the movie which has its entire background score and music being composed by none other than Anirudh Ravichander.

Director Koratala Siva earlier mentioned, "As we started filming, we understood the canvas of the film is big and the weight of the character is huge. So, we decided to make Devara in two parts. The first part of the film will be released as per scheduled date on April 5, 2024."

Devara Overseas Theatrical Rights For Rs 35 Crore?

The movie trended a couple of days ago all over the internet owing to the teaser release reveal date. Fans were thrilled to know that the Young Tiger Jr NTR's first look glimpse and teaser will be released on January 8. Meanwhile, there is another interesting piece of news about Devara's overseas theatrical rights.

Reportedly, buzz has it that the makers of the Jr NTR-starrer, Yuvasudha Arts and NRT Arts have quoted a massive Rs 35 Crore for the theatrical rights of this actioner for the overseas business. However, the deal has not been finalized yet and is expected to close for a lucrative amount shortly.

Devara Teaser Release Date & Time Out

But on the day of New Year 2024, the Young Tiger himself took to his social media handle to announce the date of the #DevaraGlimpse aka Devara teaser release. The much-hyped teaser will be dropped on January 8. Check out the tweet below.

Devara Cast

The movie stars Jr NTR aka Tarak as Devara. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are making their Telugu debut with Koratala Siva's directorial. Saif will be seen playing the role of Bhaira. In addition, the movie features seasoned actors: Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Chaithra Rai, and Abhimanyu Singh among others playing important characters.

Koratala Siva is the film's writer and director. Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna are funding the project under their banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. R Rathnavelu is cranking the camera, while A Sreekar Prasad is working on its editing. Anirudh Ravichander is on board to compose electrifying music and background score for Jr NTR.
