Massraja Ravi Teja's latest stylish gangster drama titled Eagle, written and directed by cinematographer-cum-editor Karthik Ghattamneni in his directorial debut was released worldwide on February 9. The movie had decent openings but didn't sustain after the opening weekend. Anupama Parameswaran, Kavya Thapar, Navdeep, and Madhoo played crucial roles in this actioner.

Eagle Story

Sahadeva Varma, who runs a cotton mill in the Talakona forest region is an inquisitive man who was seen as quite influential. His rare quality Cotton has high demand in Europe. A journalist called Nalini (Anupama Parameswaran) writes a story on Sahadeva Varma and his cotton. She unknowingly gets attention as Sahadeva is most wanted by the RAW, terrorists, and Naxals. She then unearths the secret and dark past of Sahadeva Varma, who is an assassin. He has been in hiding for over a decade.

Eagle OTT Release Date & Time

The movie Eagle did a pre-release business of about Rs 21 Crore, worldwide. It had sold its digital streaming rights to an undisclosed OTT giant. The makers of the film have signed a surprise deal with Etv WIN for Ravi Teja's Eagle movie eight weeks after its theatrical release date. Going by the buzz, the movie could hit the OTT platform by April's end. An official update is awaited, however.

The movie is the directorial debut of cinematographer Karthik Gattamneni. TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla bankrolled the movie under the People Media Factory banner. Karthik Gattamneni along with Uthara are taking care of the film's editing. Davzand is the man behind the film's entire background score and music.
