HanuMan: Yash To Play The Hanuman In Prasanth Varma's Sequel Titled Jai Hanuman? Actor's Team Clarifies
Hanuman, Prasanth Varma's epic fantasy film on Indian superhero Lord Hanuman, which was released amid heavy and star-studded competition during Sankranti 2024 emerged as the ultimate winner by not only minting money but also by achieving many firsts and setting records. The movie became the first highest-grosser of 2024 and highest highest-grosser in Telugu films of 2024. The movie set new records in the USA and the UK.
The movie which also stars several notable actors finally achieved the rare feat of earning Rs 300 Crore. In India from all the languages HanuMan was released, the movie already made about Rs 191 Crore and is likely to cross Rs 200 Crore.

rumoured

actor

playing

role

sequel

At
first,
it
was
widely
believed
that
actor-producer
Rana
Daggubati
would
play
the
role
of
Lord
Hanuman
in
the
movie.
There
are

reports
that
Rana
is
the
one
who
encouraged
Prasanth
Varma
to
work
on
the
sequel.
In the latest update, the actor's team reacted to this news of rumours about Yash playing Hanuman in 'Jai Hanuman' and brushed it off as fake news. They cleared the air by claiming that this news is baseless.

Teja Sajja played the protagonist Hanumanthu in HanuMan. Amritha Aiyer is his love interest Meenakshi, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is Hanumanthu's sister Anjamma. This first Telugu superhero film also boasts Vennela Kishore, Satya, Vinay Rai, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, Samuthirakani, Koushik Mahata, and Bhanu Prakash among others playing pivotal characters.

Written and directed by Prasanth Varma, HanuMan is the production venture of K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment. Hari Gowra and Krishna Saurabh worked on the film's background score and music. Dasaradhi Sivendra cranked the camera while Saibabu Talari worked as the editor.
