Tollywood's most-favourite hero with no haters, Venkatesh's latest is a high-octane emotional action drama titled Saindhav. The movie was written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu for the remarkable 75th film of the actor. The movie was part of the popular Tollywood Sankranti releases and was released on January 13 without competition. However, the movie didn't perform to the mark at the box office. Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui made his Tollywood debut with this film.

Saindhav Premise

Saindhav Koneru aka SaiKo is a simple and endearing family man who lives with his wife Manogna and daughter Gayathri. He has a dark past unbeknownst to his wife. Suddenly, his daughter Gayathri falls sick and is diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy and requires an injection that costs Rs 17 Crore. SaiKo then has no other option but to go back to his old, bad ways to do what he has to do to save his daughter. He has to then face a ruthless gangster and an enemy from the past, Vikas Malik.

Saindhav Cast

Venkatesh played the protagonist Saindhavthu in Saindhav. Amritha Aiyer is his love interest Meenakshi, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is Saindhavthu's sister Anjamma. This first Telugu superhero film also boasts Vennela Kishore, Satya, Vinay Rai, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, Samuthirakani, Koushik Mahata, and Bhanu Prakash among others playing pivotal characters.

Saindhav is the production venture of K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment. Hari Gowra and Krishna Saurabh worked on the film's background score and music. Dasaradhi Sivendra cranked the camera while Saibabu Talari worked as the editor.
