Full of comedy sans smiles

Director-cum-producer CV Reddy thought of choosing a romantic subject but failed to mould it on the silver screen. He had taken on a Hollywood flick Just Married in which a young man faces several troubles in a bid to enjoy his honeymoon. After choosing the storyline, he thought of make it as an entertainer and added comedy track to give it a flavour of nativity. The narration of the subject is quite outdated and as a result it failed to suit the present generation youth.

Balu (Sivabalaji) is a manager in a firm run by Hitler (Brahmanandam). He wanted to marriage a girl who looked quite homely and is in search of a dream girl. His ambition is to marry that lovely girl and go abroad for honeymoon. Once he comes across one such girl called Swapna (Mythili). Somehow he wins her love and marries her with the consent of her parents (Tanikella Bharani and Sana). After their marriage, he starts leading a good life. On the other side of the coin, Hitler always thinks that his wife Sarala (Sarala) should be like a woman which was said in puranas. He treats as a servant (Karyeshu Dasi), some times asks her suggestions (Karaneshu Mantri), plays like a child while taking means (Bhojyeshu Mata) and wanted his wife look beautiful (Sayaneshu Rambha). But she could not bear this torture of playing different shades of characters in real life.

At this juncture the bank in which Balu saved his money for his honeymoon trip turns bankrupt and he loses the whole savings. Depressed over the situation, Balu meets Hitler and asks him to arrange the money for his honeymoon trip as an advance from his salary, but he refuses it. Once, Hitler goes to a Mahila Mandali (Women's Club) to give a lecture on women and gets bashed for his outbursts. Learning about the incident, Balu goes to him and suggests him to change his attitude. Realising his folly, Hitler turns a changed man but his wife could not understand why the sudden change and fears that he had mental retardation. Hitler gets shifted to mental asylum. Balu comes to know about this and reveals the truth to Sarala. Both of them reach hospital to get him back. By that time, Sarala's brother Bosubabu (Raghubabu) kidnaps him and demands to give his entire property. Balu rescues him from the kidnappers. Finally, Hitler, who has no children, decides to adopt Balu as their son and sends him to honeymoon with Swapna. The story ends on a happy note.

Plus:
The comedy track directed by Relangi Nageswara Rao came out excellently. However, the comedy could be enjoyed only on the screen, but could not remember those scenes after some time. Sivabalaji, who played the solo hero, possibly for the first time, did his best. Mythili looked gorgeous in a couple of scenes and is just okay. She has not much scope for performance but for a couple of scenes. The comedy track run between Sunil and Kondavalasa is okay.

Minus:
Poor storyline, insipid screenplay killed the tempo of the film. There is not much scope for performance for the hero but to go to dreams and shakes his legs with the heroine in dream songs. Even the choreography is a major let down. Once again, the police department was taken for a ride and were proved as jokers. It is unfortunate, why the so called directors and writers make a mockery of the police department.

Remarks:
The film was made with a theme of a Hollywood flick. As was already mentioned, the film is made with the inspiration of Just Married directed by Shawn levy with Ashton Kutzer and Britney Murphy as hero and heroine. However, the taste of CV Reddy is laudable as three of the songs were choreographed in the beautiful locales of Thailand and Switzerland. But the technicians failed to make use of the richness of the film. A below average flick and not a must watch film.
