Krishna Sastry (Krishnudu) is the son of Omkara Sastry (MS Narayana). He is a priest in a temple. However, he has a strong feel of wearing jeans and get a modern look instead of wearing dhoti. Once, he comes across a girl called Neelima (Rithika) and loses his heart. However, Omkaram arranges Krishna Sastry"s marriage with Ambujam (Geeta Singh), against his wishes. Vedam tells his brother that he should wear a modern look to get attracted to girls and changes his attire.
Krishna Sastry impresses Neelima with his new look. But Neelima"s father plans her marriage with her brother-in-law Suresh (K Sureshbabu) against her wishes. However, Krishna Sastry manages to spoil the alliance. To avoid Suresh, Neelima befriends with Krishna Sastry. Though Neelima moves friendly with Krish, it is only to avoid Suresh and she has no feelings on Krish. At this juncture, Neelima"s father learns that she has played a trick with the help of Krish and fixes her marriage with Suresh. This disappoints Krish and he decides to end life but fails in his attempt. While making suicide attempt, he comes across Style (Venu). What happens next should be seen on-screen.
Krishnudu has done justice to his role. As the story is penned to suit his body language and histrionics, his characterisation has come out well. Rithika is not a heroine material. She doesn"t know anything about acting and could not give proper lip movement for the dialogues or songs. The producer of the film himself played the comedy villain role and he is okay. MS Narayana, Anant, Bharat, Nalla Venu and others are at their usual best.
Story and dialogues by Raghava are okay for the movie. In order to maintain humour in dialogues, the writer has penned the dialogues parody to popular movies of NTR (Adurs), Mahesh Babu (Pokiri) and Siddharth (Bommarillu). Those dialogues get instant applause in the theatre. KM Radhakrishnan"s songs are just okay but are not catchy. Background music is just an average. Camera by SD John is apt and editing by MR Verma is good. Director has chosen to bring out the film with the sole theme that any person, howsoever he may be will have the feelings of love and being bulky is in no way could put a break for the emotions. The storyline is good and the director has done his best to narrate it. Though, there are jumps in scenes and some cinematic mistakes, yet the overall product is good. However, the director gives a feel that he could deliver goods with a subject that is woven around a particular hero.
No doubt, the film will provide you good entertainment for two hours but it can"t be explained after coming out of the film. Watch the film for good parody dialogues.
