Rating:
3.5/5
Mohana Krishna Indraganti debuted as director with 2004 Telugu film Grahanam, which has fetched him 11 awards from the National Film Award, Nandi Award and Gollapudi Srinivas Memorial Award. In 10 years, he has done four movies and he is now out with his fifth directorial venture Anthaka Mundu Aa Tarvatha (AMAT), which will impress the film goers with its thought provoking dialogues and scenes.

Anthaka Mundu Aa Tarvatha is a love story with a few commercial elements. Sumanth Ashwin's brilliant acting is the major highlight. Besides, Mohan Krishna's story, screenplay and witty dialogues, PG Vinda's camera work and Koduri Kalyani Malik's music and Srinivas Avasarala's comedy are its other attractions. A few uninteresting, unnecessary and illogical scenes in the second half are the drawback of the film.

The movie is new age love story and the director has touched some of serious issues like personal space, adjustment after marriage, career aspirations of women. He has handled the subject in a convincing and matured way. The first half of the film has lot of freshness, the funny one-liners and romantic scenes will make the audience glued to screens. Due to a few drawbacks in the second half, the film fails to hold viewers' attention, but the climax sequence compensate it.
