Alludu Seenu is a comedy drama and the director VV Vinayak has laced it with all commercial elements. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan's screenplay and hilarious dialogues, Devi Sri Prasad's music, Chota K Naidu's amazing camera work, Samantha's glamour, Brahmanandam's comedy, beautiful costumes, art direction and exotic locales are the main highlights of the film. The routine and predictable story, cliched scenes and too many songs are the big drawbacks of the film.

In terms of its story, Alludu Seenu does not boast of anything new and fresh subject. It has a tried-and-tested storyline and one can sense the scent of Baadshah, Dhee and Ready. What makes this movie a good entertainer is VV Vinayak's treatment of subject. The director has blended some interesting twists and turns with all mass entertainer values.

Alludu Seenu (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) and his uncle Narsimha (Prakash Raj) are thugs and they plan to run away to Chennai, when they fail to return the money borrowed from the villagers. But they get into a wrong train in hurry and land in Hyderabad. A situation leads Alludu Seenu to bump into his uncle's lookalike named Bhai (Prakash Raj), who is a mafia don in the city.

When Alludu Seenu comes to know about Bhai's history, he seizes the opportunity and makes use of his PA Dimple (Brahmanandam) to earn some quick bucks in his name. He also falls in love with Bhai's daughter Anjali (Samantha), but a horrifying truth separates the lovers. What is the truth? The rest of the film will answer this question, which should be watched on screen.

As hero, debutant Bellamkona Srinivas, who has undergone rigorous training in acting, has delivered a decent performance in Alludu Seenu. He impresses the viewers with his dance, fight and dialogue diction. Samantha looks very glamorous. Her chemistry with Srinivas is a treat to watch. Brahmanandam is hilarious as Dimple and his comedy is one of major highlights of the film. Prakash Raj, who has played two roles, has done his best and his performance is big asset for the movie. Other supporting artistes have also done justice to their roles.

Alludu Seenu has rich production values and Devi Sri Prasad's music is the main highlight in the technical front. Chota K Naidu's picturisation is brilliant. Especially in song sequences, his camerawork is a visual treat. Other technical departments like editing, dialogues, art direction, selection of costumes and locales have done commendable works in the film.

Overall, Alludu Seenu is an average fare that does not deal with fresh concept. But it promises to be a good commercial entertainer. It is a good launch pad for debutant Srinivas. It can be watched once. Continue to slide to read Alludu Seenu review by viewers.
