Oka Laila Kosam Movie Review

Naga Chaitanya's much talked about movie Oka Laila Kosam (OLK), has released worlwide today (October 17). Director Vijay Kumar Konda has penned the story and the screenplay of the movie which features Naga Chaitanya, Pooja Hegde,Ali, Bramhanandam, Prabhu, Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi in important roles.

Oka Laila Kosam is a romantic entertainer, it is the love story of Naga Chaitanya and Pooja Hegde. Naga Chaitanya is playing a lover boy, in the movie. Director Vijay Kumar Konda's story and screenplay should really be appreciated for portraying the casual story magically, onscreen. Music by Anoop Rubens adds charm to the movie. Naga Chaitanya's matured acting will be liked by every film goer. Pooja Hegde's acting is worth appreciating.The movie is produced by Akkineni Nagjuna under his home banner, Annapurna Studios. OLK's main highlight other than the romance, is Ali's comedy punches. The story is predictable after its first half, and the second half has been dragged and lacks entertainment.

The story goes like this. Karthik(Naga Chaitanya) comes back to India after completing his studies and one fine day he comes across Nandu(Pooja Hegde) and falls in love with her. Everytime Karthik meets her, it is a bitter experience for Nandu, but the twist in the tale is that Nandu rejects Karthik's love proposal, but ends up engaged with him. Will Nandu love Karthik after engagement? This forms the rest of the story.

Naga Chaitanya has handled his role with ease. He is seen super handsome, and his romantic love scenes with Pooja Hegde is just sizzling. Pooja Hegde appears very beautiful, she has performed a complex role in the movie which has been presented well.

Ali's comedy is a feast to the audience. Apart from the lead roles, actor Bramhanandam, Prabhu, Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Pragathi, Sudha have done justification to their roles as supporting characters.

Overall, Oka Laila Kosam is a good romantic entertainer. The movie includes all commercial elements and will be a hit movie in Naga Chaitanya's career again! Pooja Hegde is likely to get more offers after this movie,for her awesome acting in OLK.
