Ra Ra Krishnayya - Movie Review

Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra teamed up first for Routine Love Story, which did well at the Box Office. Their wonderful chemistry was one big reason for the success of the movie. They have joined hands again for Ra Ra Krishnayya, which has been creating ripples in the media ever since it was announced. After a long wait, the film has hit the screens across the globe today (July 4).

Ra Ra Krishnayya is romance drama that has been interlaced with some mass entertainer elements. The amazing chemistry between Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra is the main highlight in the film. Mahesh Babu P's engaging narration, Achu Rajamani's melodious music, Sriram's beautiful picturisation, a few comedy scenes and exotic locales are other attractions of the movie.

Written and directed by Mahesh Babu P, Ra Ra Krishnayya is a complete love story, which is about a guy, who is often mistaken as mischievous. The story all about the problems he gets into and the way he overcomes each of them. Set in Chennai, the movie has a simple and routine story and the director has created an interesting screenplay with some surprising twists and turns. He has good grip on its narration.

Ra Ra Krishnayya opens with the entry of Brahmaji and then heads to the introduce of the roles of Sudeep, Tanikella Bharini and Regina. The first half of the film has a few romance and comedy scenes and a couple of melodious songs, which appear as speed breaker for the narration. The twist at the interval gets a momentum for the story and the second half is good and besides the lead pair, Jagapathi Babu and Kalyani keep you entertainer. There is a fight scene to entertain the action too. The climax is also good.

Krishna aka Kittu (Sundeep Kishan) works as a cab driver at Manikyam Green Cabs company. He works hard and earns Rs 6 lakhs, but Manikyam, owner of the company, (Tanikella Bharini) cheats him. Drunken Kittu reaches Manikyam's house, where engagement of later's daughter Nandeeswari (Regina) is going on. Nandu, who is not interest in the marriage, takes this opportunity to run away with Kittu. What happens next will form a laugh riot.

As Kittu, Sundeep Kishan has delivered a brilliant performance Ra Ra Krishnayya. He rocks the viewers in all romantic, comedy, dance and action scenes. Regina Cassandra has played a dominating role in the film, which offers her good screen presence. She has done a good job. Besides good acting, she also impresses the viewers with her glamour. Her chemistry with hero is treat for lovers of romance dramas. Tanikella Bharani, Brahmaji, Ravi Babu, Jagapathi Babu, Kalyani, Venu and others have also done justice to their roles.

Ra Ra Krishnayya has sound production values and Achu Rajamani's music is main highlight in the technical front. His songs are good to listen. His background score helps the director to elevate intensity of several scenes. Sriram's cinematography is another big highlight of the film. Especialy, his work in songs is a visual treat. The art direction, costumes and locales in the song sequences are superb. Marthand K. Venkatesh's editing is also comendable.

Overall, Ra Ra Krishnayya is tried and test romance drama that lacks freshness. The movie looks like an unofficial remake of Hindi film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. Sundeep and Regina's wonderful chemistry will impress the viewers. It is a decent family entertainer. Continue to slide to read Ra Ra Krishnayya movie review by viewers.
