Yamaleela 2 Movie Review: A Fantasy Drama

Yamaleela 2, is a perfect family entertainer and a fantasy drama which is released today, November 28. Director SV Krishna Reddy who earlier gave Yamaleela(1994) is making a come back to movies through Yamaleela 2. Debutant actors KV Satish and Diah Nicolas are playing the lead roles. The fantasy family drama is written and directed by SV Krishna Reddy under the banner of Krishvi films.

Nisha Kotari, Sada, Mohan Babu, Brahmanandam, SV Krishna Reddy, Sayaji Shinde, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ali, M.S.Narayana and Rao Ramesh are playing the supporting characters. The director himself has scored the background music for Yamaleela 2 which has already received good response.

Yamaleela 2 depicts a cute love story with more fantasy. The story line of the movie is same to the original movie, it is all about Lord Yama and Chitragupata who comes in search of the book 'Bhavishyathvani'- to Bhooloka(earth). The hero who comes across the book, finds out that it is a guide to future. What happens in his life later forms the rest of the story.

Debutants KV Satish and Diah Nicolas are extremely good in their performances. Dr. Mohan Babu amd Brahmanandam's combination as Lord Yama and Chitragupta is a feast to watch, their characters add more commercial value to the movie. Nisha Kotari and Sadha are both playing a glamourous roles along with Diah Nicolas.

The movie includes more computer graphics but will still be liked by every film goer. It has love, action and sentiment but it has failed to reach the expectations like the earlier movie Yamaleela. The movie lacks perfection and comedy in few scenes.

Overall, Yaamleela 2 is a one time watch.
