Dil
Raju,
who
earlier
produced
path-breaking
youthful
entertainers
like
Aarya
and
Kotha
Bangaru
Lokam,
is
again
coming
with
a
promising
youthful
flick,
Kerintha.
Let
us
see
if
his
midas
touch
has
anything
to
do
with
the
film.
Kerintha
Story:
Well!
That's
exactly
where
the
film
failed.
Kerintha
is
a
story
of
few
friends,
who
meet
at
their
post-graduation
level.
The
highs
and
lows
of
their
friendship,
love
life
and
a
chase
for
dreams
forms
the
crux
of
the
story.
It
lacks
a
refreshing
plot
and
is
highly
inspired
from
Happy
Days
and
3
Idiots.
Performances:
Sumanth
Ashwin
has
put
in
his
100
percent
to
play
a
matured
character
but
his
boyish
looks
and
body
language
played
a
spoil
sport.
Especially,
he
must
take
some
extra
care
while
dealing
with
the
emotional
scenes.
Sri
Divya
certainly
has
nothing
much
to
do
than
throwing
a
sweet
smile.
The
easiest
way
to
impress
right?
Tejeswi
Madivada
has
got
a
good
role
to
play
and
was
skilled
enough
to
pull
it
off.
The
girl
who
played
Bhavana
is
hear
to
stay
and
was
pretty
impressive
in
portraying
the
role
she
was
offered.
The
one
played
Nookaraju
did
his
job
well
though
his
character
was
too
cliched.
Technical
Aspects:
Kerintha
is
a
technically
rich
film
and
the
cinematography
takes
the
pedestal.
Beautiful
locales,
eye
candy
colors
and
some
attractive
art
work
made
the
film
look
fresh
in
each
frame.
Music
and
background
score
by
Mickey
J
Mayor
surely
enhanced
the
feel
and
setting
of
the
movie.
Dil
Raju
made
sure
every
penny
he
spent
on
the
film
appears
on
screen.
However,
the
film
must
have
had
a
script
doctor.
Director
Sai
Kiran
Adivi
was
lucky
enough
to
get
a
nod
from
Dil
Raju
for
such
routine
script.
He
was
pretty
perfect
in
execution
but
the
content
is
what
is
lacking
in
the
film.
Rotten
drama
between
the
friends,
monotonous
conflict
points,
cliched
dialogues
failed
big
time
in
registering
any
impact.
Overview:
Though
the
film
has
had
its
share
of
lows,
it
is
surely
entertaining.
After
all
that
complaints,
that
is
what
matters.
Kerintha
has
nothing
new
to
offer
but
it
is
a
good
mix
of
moments
and
hence
the
film
might
work
well
with
its
target
audience.
Love
At
First
Sight
Jai(Sumanth
Ashwin)
falls
for
Manswini(Sri
Divya)
at
the
first
sight.
Sid
And
Priya
Sid
and
Priya
(
Tejeswi)
make
a
pair
but
will
distance
herself
from
him
because
of
his
rude
behaviour
in
the
later
half
of
the
film.
Sri
Divya
She
played
a
matured
character,
who
aims
to
go
to
Australia
to
chase
her
dreams.
Kerintha
Kerintha
had
its
share
of
moments
which
will
bring
a
sweet
smile
on
your
face.
Songs
The
catchy
and
melodious
songs
were
a
major
plus
for
the
film.
Kerintha
On
the
whole,
the
film
would
work
great
with
the
college
going
audience,
since
they
can
relate
to
the
characters
very
easily.
