On August 10, superstar Rajinikanth hit the screens as Jailer, to the arousing reception from his fans and cinephiles. The movie written and directed by Nelson put back the Thalaivar in his place in the industry. Jailer shattered the records of previous films in Tamil Nadu.

Jailer was released in all major south-Indian languages and the movie is making a killing at the box office worldwide. In Tamil, Telugu, and overseas, the movie is unstoppable even after the first week.
