Sean Connery is the first actor to play James Bond in 1962 film Dr. No. He acted in total seven films, out of which one never released by production house. Sean was a Scotish body-builder who came to attention after appering in many British films in Late 1950s.

David Niven was Fleming's first choice for James Bond. He Played Bond in 1967's Casino Royale. This flick is not produced by Eon Productions. Niven was offered this role when Connery and Peter Sellers turned down the role, and he was 56 when he acted in this movie.

George Lazenby

1969

Australian model turned actor George Lazenby is another actor who had a solitary appearance in Bond movies. He acted in 1969 `On Her Majesty's Secret Service' and was later replaced by Connery for Diamonds Are Forever. George was 29 when he was selected for the film and had acted in commercials up to that point.

Daniel Craig

2006-2021

His selection drawn significant criticisms, and many openly opposed the Daniel casting. But, after the release of the first film Casino Rayale, Craig performance was much acclaimed. Many accepted that Daniel Craig came very closer to the Author's original conception.
