Shaktimaan
Shaktimaan is one of the much- popular Televsion shows during 1990's. Actor Mukhesh Khanna who played the central role of 'Shaktimaan'in the serial. He is one of the super hero's of 90's kids, and still favourite in this list. Launched on Dooradarshan in 1997, the Tv show was successfully aired uitil March 2005. Produced by Mukhesh Khanna, it depicts the story of a super hero named 'Shakthi man' and his fight against evil practises. It was a long time since the show was last telecasted on the DD channel during the first wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
Hum Paanch
The popular sitcom 'Hum Paanch' launched on ZEE TV in 1995 and grabbed the audience attention every corner. Written by Imtiaz Patel, the sit-com starred Ashok Saraf, Vidya Balan, Vandana Pathak, Rakhee Tandob and Bhairavi Raichuria in prominent roles. With a captivating story plot and hilarious moments, the show is one of 90's kids' favourites. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, 'Hum Paanch' also marked Vidya Balan's onscreen debut. After four successful seasons, the second season of the show launched in 2005.
Dekh Bhai Dekh
Anand Mahendroo's Dekh Bhai Dekh is a popular Hindi comic sit-com, which found a permanent place in the hearts of 90's audience. Like a complete family drama, that tells the stories in an engaging mix of comic and funny ideas that bring out laughter. Directed by Aanand Mahendro, it casted Urvashi Dholakia, Farida Jalal, Shekhar Suman, Bhavana Balsawar and Sushma Seth in lead roles. Produced by Jaya Bachchan, the series ran for 65 episodes on DD Metro.
Just Mohabbat
Directed by Tony and Deeya Singh, 'Just Mohabbat' is one of the most popular and beloved Tv series in Hindi. The much-popular TV series was launched in 1996 and completed 186 episodes in a short period of time. The series impressed several audiences with stellar cast performances. The late actor Irfan Khan also appeared in the role of Mr. Singh on the show.
Alif Laila
Like a complete fantasy drama, 'Alif Laila' which protrayed the stories of Arabin nights. Launched on 1993, the series was made in two season. Directed by Anand Sagar, Prem Sagar and Moti Sagar, 'Alif Laila' telecasted on DD channel.
