Malayalam Movies & Web Series Releasing In January 2024

Sarjano Khalid and Anagha Narayanan are in the lead roles of the survival thriller drama, which is  scheduled to release on January 5. The movie unfolds against the backdrop of Oman, delving into the story of a family grappling with the absence of one of its members. As the narrative unfolds, the plot revolves around the mystery and impact of this missing family member on the lives of those left behind. The setting of Oman serves as a vivid backdrop, adding depth to the emotional journey and the search for resolution within the family dynamic. The movie is directed by Aneesh Anwar and produced by Linu Sreenivas under Alu Entertainments.

The web series Perilloor Premier League starring Nikhila Vimal and Sunny Wayne, is set to stream on Disney+Hotstar from January 5, 2024. The series trailer hints at an uproarious comedy ride, promising a continuous stream of laughter. LLB: Life Line of Bachelors is a comedy drama helmed by AM Sidhique, weaving a tale of bachelorhood. The film stars Sreenath Bhasi, Lalu Alex, Sudheesh, and Vishak Nair in prominent roles. Mohanlal's 'Malaikkottai Vaalibhan' is one of the most-aniticipated movies of this year. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' is a period action film written by PS Rafeeque. Reportedly budgeted at Rs 100 crores, 'Malaikkottai Vaalibhan' is set to hit screens on January 25, 2024. Alongside its Malayalam release, the film will also debut in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. Meanwhile, Malaikkottai Vaalibhan will be clashing with Hrithik Roshan Fighter' in the Hindi market.
