The Kerala Story OTT Release Date: OTT Platform, Satellite Rights

The Kerala Story is a Hindi social drama film written and directed by Sudipto Sen. Suryapal Singh and Vipul Amrutlal Shah also contributed to the screenplay and story. In the principal roles, Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani portray the real-life situations of converted Malayali-Muslim ladies who serve as ISIS terrorists.

The only two political parties that've held supremacy over Kerala since Independence, the Indian National Congress and the Communist Party of India, both opposed the film's publication on the basis that it promoted racial confusion. Additionally, they claim that the filmmakers support the Sangh Parivar's plan of criticising Kerala while pushing the "love jihad" conspiracy concept. Producer Shah responded to the accusations by declaring that "nothing we say will be without evidence" and that Sen had spent four years researching the project.

The Kerala Story tells the tale of a woman who converted to Islam. Fatima Ba describes her hardships as a Hindu Malayali nurse who was kidnapped from her house and persuaded by religious vanguards to become an ISIS terrorist before ending up in an Afghan prison. The remaining theme of this movie revolves around what triggered her to turn into a terrorist and whether or not she had any sympathy for humans.

The teaser for Kerala Story was released on November 3, 2022, and soon after that, the Kerala state administration began noticing the heat and filed a complaint against the movie, claiming that it contained inaccurate stuff. Then, on April 26, 2023, a controversial and hard-hitting trailer was released, raising tension and anticipation for the film's premiere.
