Upcoming Malayalam 3D Movies In 2024

It is an upcoming period-action drama directed by Jithin Lal. Starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, the movie revolves around a unique narrative that explores the concept of time travel.

Ajayante Randam Moshanam will mark Kriti’s Malayalam debut, will have her essaying the character of Lekshmi. This high-budget film is slated for a multilingual release and features an ensemble cast including Basil Joseph, Prakash Raj, Rohini, Basil Joseph, and Pramod Shetty. The teaser for this upcoming period film was previously unveiled by actors: Prithviraj launched the Malayalam version, while Hrithik Roshan, Nani, Karthi, and Rakshit Shetty released the Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada versions, respectively. Shot across North Kerala and Tamil Nadu, "Ajayante Randam Moshanam" is scheduled for release in 2024.

Barroz is a highly anticipated Malayalam film directed by the renowned actor Mohanlal, marking his directorial debut. The film, reported to be a 3D fantasy adventure, revolves around the legendary lost treasure of Vasco da Gama. It's expected to combine elements of history, adventure, and fantasy, creating significant buzz within the industry and among fans eagerly awaiting Mohanlal's directorial venture. ‘Barroz’ is written by Jijo Punnoose known for directing India’s first 3D film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. The film boasts an impressive technical team, including cinematographer Santosh Sivan, editor Sreekar Prasad, music director Lydian Nadhaswaran, and art director Santhosh Raman.

The special effects sequences for the film were filmed in both India and Thailand, while other production aspects are close to completion. Presently, the movie is in its concluding stages of post-production and is set to release on March 28, 2023.

Directed by Rojin Thomas, the Malayalam film will be a two-part 3D fantasy-thriller, shot on a budget of Rs 75 crores. Jayasurya who will essaying a lead role in the movie, is  produced by Sree Gokulam Movies, known for their period films like Kayam Kulam Kochunni, Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, and Pathonpatham Nottandu. Apart from Jayasurya, ‘Kathanar - The Wild Sorcerer’ also fetures the actors Anushka Shetty, Sanoop Santhosh Kulpreet Yadav, and many more in significant roles. The cinematic vision, crafted by R. Ramanand, lays the foundation for the artwork of this epic fantasy thriller. Neil D'Cunha has skillfully captured the stunning visuals, while Rahul Subrahmanian has composed the soul-stirring music for this film.
