Amitabh was introduced in Hindi cinema as an angry young man whereas Vinod Khanna was popular for his chocolate boy character. These actors were rivals but they were also known as good friends and their friendship was quite popular in the Bollywood industry. Its story revolves around the two families of Rajasthan and their clashes, two members of these families named Reshma and Shera. Kunwara Baap was based on Charlie Chaplin's first full-length movie The Kid of 1921. This hindi movie was directed by Mehmood and produced by Amarlal Chabaria. This movie was featuring Mehmood, Macky Ali, Vinod Mehra, Lalita Pawar, and Nazir Hussain. This film has been listed as one of the most special movies in terms of cameo castings as it had Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Hema Malini, Dara Singh, and Lucky Ali as child artists. This movie was released on November 29, 1974, Its story narrates about a couple who gave birth to a child and abandons him who is later raised by a rickshawala (Mehmood), but soon the boy suffers from polio and he was unable to do anything for the child as he was poor, but later on, child's real parents arrive and ask for their child but Mehmood declines because, now he had a connection of father with that child and he does not want to separate from him. Later on, everyone makes him understand that the parents of this child are quite rich and afford his treatment, so he accepts the separation, and when the kid is cured of the polio and goes to the rickshawala he finds him dead due to the sorrow and grief.

This movie was such a masterpiece that a Telugu movie named Rama Krishnulu was remade in 1978,  Prakash Mehra directed it, Satish Bhatnagar and Vijay Kaul wrote it, and Satyendra Pal produced this film was released on 10 September 1976. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Saira Banu, Vinod Khanna, Sulakshana Pandit, Shreeram Lagoo, Asrani, and Pinchoo Kapoor. This film is about two crooks, who loot rich people but as Vijay meets PK, the story takes a new turn.

Casting Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rekha, Nirupa Roy, Asrani, Aruna Irani, Kader Khan, and Ranjeet. This movie was so popular that in 1979 it was remade in Telugu as Tiger with N.T. Rama Rao and in 1989 as Siva in Tamil with Rajnikanth. When two childhood friends separated during the termination of their families by a local goon. Later on, both of them started to fight against crime one was called Shera (Vinod Khanna) and another was Tiger (Amitabh Bachchan).  At last, both meet in different circumstances but they team up and beat all the villains.

It is a story about two boys, one who was Amit the son of a bandit and another was Kishan the son of an honest police officer DSP Shamsher Singh. Both of them were raised by Shamsher Singh, but later on, Amit became an honest police inspector, and Kishan started smuggling in hidance of becoming the teacher. The table turns when both Amit get to know.

Per today's era, this movie was equivalent to 4.3 billion in terms of its box office collection. The story of this film depicts how three brothers separated from each other, raised by different religions, and went into different professions. Later on, they meet and the story ends happily. This tragedic comedy-drama movie was so popular that later it was remade in different languages and in different countries.

This is the story of Sikandar who was an orphan boy raised by a Muslim lady sometimes he started to help the police and receive his rewards and soon became a well-known person in the city, but he still loved his Childhood crush Kaamna. This was the last movie of Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna together.
