Entertainment News Live Updates: As we welcome a new Thursday (May 11) morning in May, the entertainment industry is already buzzing with many exciting and interesting updates.

Alia Bhatt, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan, entered Bollywood with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year in 2012 and is currently among the most successful actress of current times. Recently, the Raazi star opened up about the nepotism debate once again.

On Wednesday in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with the team behind The Kerala Story. In attendance were lead actor Adah Sharma, director Sudipto Sen, producer and creative Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who conversed and mingled with the political leader.

According to Adah Sharma, her film The Kerala Story is set to release in 37 countries on May 12. The film, which deals with the controversial topic of religious conversion and has sparked divisive political discussions, has been banned in some states while receiving tax-free status in others. Despite this, the movie has managed to collect a staggering Rs 56 crore at the box office since its release last Friday.
