Ravi Kishan is a prominent face of not just the Bhojpuri film industry and Bollywood but also politics. While he currently serves as a member of Parliament from the Gorakhpur constituency, he often features in Bhojpuri, Hindi, Kannada, and Telegu films. The actor-politician recently talked about his initial years when he started off in the film industry. He recalled how he was called for a coffee late at night by a woman who is a big shot now.
RAVI KISHAN SHARES HIS CASTING COUCH EXPERIENCE
In a rather shocking revelation, Ravi Kishan talked about how he escaped the casting couch experience when he was fairly new in the industry. His statement has left his fans in shock. He was on Aap Ki Adalat when he recalled the incident and said, "Yeah, it happened, and this is something that happens in the industry. But I somehow managed to escape. My father had taught me that I should approach my work with honesty, I never wanted to take a shortcut. I knew I was talented."
Ravi Kishan further added, "I can't name her, because she has become a big shot now. She had said, 'Coffee peene raat me aayiye'. I thought that is something people prefer to have during the day, so I got the hint and refused."
RAVI KISHAN TALKS ABOUT HIS STRUGGLE
During a singing reality show, Swarn Swar Bharat, Ravi Kishan, who was the host talked about his struggles before he became a big name in the cinema industry. He said that he came from a village near Banaras, and his father was a priest. He talked about how he took the role of Sita in Ramlila to pursue his passion for acting. While his father never supported his passion, it was his mother always supported him. He calls her his support system.

Ravi Kishan began his career with Pitambar in 1992. Apart from several Bhojpuri films, he has played important roles in Bollywood films including Hera Pheri, Luck, Bullet Raja, and Kick 2 among others. He made his OTT debut with The Family and went on to star in Rangbaaz, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, among several others.
