Sara Ali Khan Opens Up On Equation With Her Parents, Says Father Saif Never Meddles With Her Professional Life

The idea of her parents nonexistence in her life terrifies her tremendously, Sara shared. Further talking about her mother, the actress added, "Visualising life without mom to any degree is what scares me the most. Most often the one thing that I can definitely rely on is that mom is the reason to wake up. On most days, that's it, that's the reason. I can't not have that."

On being asked if she would want to collaborate with her mom on a movie, Sara said, "The film is called real life. It happens every day. There are no intervals there and snacks are not always free (laughs)." For the unversed, Amrita Singh was one of the most successful actresses back in the 80s. She has been a part of some hit movies such as Mard, Betaab, Sunny, etc.

Further, Sara disclosed that her father has never interfered with her selection of scripts, despite his own vast film experiences. She shared, "My father doesn't read my scripts or help me pick them. He has told me, 'As an actor, if you're reading a script and feel at the end of it that you want to do it, then do it.' Kisi aur ko padha ke kya hi milega! Other people have their own convictions and guts but I've my own."

Sara Ali Khan was last seen in the murder mystery Gaslight and has received rave reviews for her portrayal of a paraplegic girl. The movie is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
