Sobhita Dhulipala Elated With Positive Response To Her The Night Manager Character ‘Kaveri’

The Night Manager, a British television series, was officially remade in Hindi recently. The crime-thriller OTT series received overwhelmingly positive reviews for its expert acting and for the way it was adapted for an Indian audience.

Sobhita Dhulipala, who not only delivered the oomph and sex appeal but also showed that she was a capable actress as she owned her character Kaveri, stood out in particular for the aura and mystery she provided to the role.

Sobhita said how the word "Kaveri" refers to water when discussing how she was able to so easily step into the part. Water can be still but yet very deep, and the currents alter as day turns into night, just like Kaveri's life, which is both calm and stormy. Answers, in my opinion, should not be given; rather, they should be discovered. With her character, I believe we know and see everything that we need to know, while occasionally you want to lean in closer to hear her more clearly and learn what is simmering beneath the surface. I didn't feel the need to add anything more because I think that was pretty well written. You don't know her from many different angles because you only see her through the eyes of her partner (Anil Kapoor) and Aditya's character...so perhaps hiding is what gives her that mystery.

Given how adored she was in the first episode of the show, viewers cannot wait to see Sobhita Dhulipala bring back her character 'Kaveri' in the upcoming season of 'The Night Manager,' which debuts on June 30.
