Sulochana Latkar Death: Sulochna Latkar, a renowned veteran actress of Bollywood and Marathi cinema, passed away on Sunday at the age of 94. She had been undergoing treatment at Sushrusha Hospital in Mumbai.

According to reports, the actress succumbed to age-related ailments. The funeral of Sulochana Latkar is scheduled to take place on Monday (June 5) at the Dadar cremation grounds in Mumbai.
Just a few hours prior to her demise, Sulochana's daughter, Kanchan Ghanekar, informed ABP News that her mother had been admitted to the hospital due to breathing difficulties and other age-related health issues. Kanchan also mentioned that her condition had been deteriorating. Reports indicate that Sulochana's health had worsened since Saturday, and she had been placed on a ventilator. In response to her declining health, she had been receiving continuous oxygen support.
In March, Sulochana's health had reached a critical state, leading to her admission to the hospital. She was suffering from breathing problems and other age-related ailments. After undergoing a three-week treatment, she was eventually discharged upon recovery.

Sulochana Latkar's career spanned a wide range of films. She appeared in over 50 Marathi films, portraying lead heroines as well as character roles. Additionally, she acted in more than 250 Hindi films. Sulochana began her career in the Marathi film industry in the 1940s before venturing into Bollywood after achieving success in Marathi cinema.
The veteran actress was also known as the onscreen mother of Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan as she worked in many films with both the superstars. She was mostly seen in the roles of their mother.
Some of her notable films include Sati Anusuya, Sadhi Manse, Sangte Aika, Maratha Tituka Melvava, Meeth Bhakar, Vahinichya Bangdya, Dhakti Jaao, Ab Dilli Dur Nahin, Sujata, Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Dil Deke Dekho, Aasha, Majboor, Nai Roshni, Aayi Milan Ki Bela, Gora Aur Kala, Devar, and Bandini.
