Apurva Reacts To Priyanka's Cornered Remark
In his tweet Apurva wrote, "Finally Priyanka Chopra reveals what everyone knew, but said not a word. Not the liberals, not the feminists. They hail those that ostracized her, celebrate the kings that tried to destroy her. It is a massive win that she didn't end up like Parveen Babi or Sushant Singh Rajput."
He further added, "Obviously they have their favourites and have every right to work with the ones they like. The problem is when they gang up to oust an actor or a technician from not just their movie, but from the entire ecosystem," he says.
Now, Apurva Asrani has once again voiced his opinion in support of Priyanka Chopra. During his interview with Hindustan Times, he said that a vicious campaign was run against her in 2012.
"She had given two big hits - Barfi and Agneepath - in just one year, but the front page of a city newspaper carried a headline saying that no hero wanted to work with her. They weren't giving her due, she wasn't able to grow as an actor and a star."
Apurva even said that the influential Bollywood people sabotage the career of outsiders.
