Ayesha Khan NEET Protest: Amid the ongoing CJP protest and the nationwide rallies sparked by the NEET paper leak controversy, actress Ayesha Khan has come under the spotlight after being detained by the Mumbai Police during a protest.
Following the videos and clips of her being pushed into the police van, the actress has now clapped back at a troll who claimed that the protest will end her career. On Tuesday (July 22), Dhurandhar and Bigg Boss 17 fame Ayesha Khan joined a protest in Mumbai in solidarity with the NEET aspirants, demanding accountability from the govt. Soon, the situation took a dramatic turn after Ayesha Khan was detained by the Mumbai Police despite peacefully participating in the protest. The 23-year-old actress also shared videos on her Instagram account showing herself being taken into police custody. Sharing a video of the chaos on her Ig story, Khan is heard saying, "My hands are literally shivering right now. I've been detained in the police van just for standing on the road peacefully. I didn't say a word. I didn't even start the protest. I was just standing because my brother, my male friends were detained and we were just standing on road. Me and two of my other female friends." Later, Ayesha further revealed that she was kept in custody for more than 2 hours. Amid the NEET protest chaos, Ayesha Khan also shared a screenshot of her Instagram DM in which a user took a jibe at her career and claimed that she won't get any work in Bollywood anymore over her NEET protest incident. In a reply to the user, the actress gave an epic response, winning the hearts of netizens. The troll DMed her saying, "No work for you in Bollywood now." Shutting him down, Ayesha quickly responded, saying, "I would rather lose my career than lose my spine. Scare someone else, thank you, bye bye.
