Q. You chose to unveil the first glimpse of Mitti De Putt on your birthday. What made this the perfect occasion, and why do you describe this film as one of the most special projects of your career?

Vikramjeet Virk: Releasing the first glimpse of Mitti De Putt on my birthday felt deeply personal. A birthday is a time of gratitude and new beginnings, and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than by sharing a project that is so close to my heart. This film is special because it represents our roots, our identity, and the spirit of Punjab. Every actor dreams of being part of a story that stays with people long after they leave the theatre, and I truly believe Mitti De Putt is one of those films.

Q. From the very first look, the film appears deeply rooted in Punjab's culture, resilience, and emotional spirit. What aspects of the story resonated with you the most when you first read the script?

Vikramjeet Virk: What touched me the most was its honesty. The script beautifully captures the pride, emotions, and resilience of people who share an inseparable bond with their land. It's not just about one individual-it's about generations, relationships, sacrifice, and the values that define Punjab. That emotional depth is what immediately connected me to the story.

Q. The glimpse hints at themes of courage, sacrifice, and an unbreakable bond with one's land. Without revealing too much, how does your character embody these values, and what can audiences expect from his journey?

Vikramjeet Virk: My character is someone who believes that certain values are bigger than personal gain. His journey is filled with difficult choices, emotional conflicts, and moments that test his strength and character. Audiences will see someone who stands firmly by his beliefs while carrying immense emotional weight. I hope they connect with his journey on a human level.

Q. You've worked across Punjabi, Hindi, and international cinema. Where does Mitti De Putt stand in your journey as an actor, and how has this role challenged or enriched you in a different way?

Vikramjeet Virk: Every project teaches you something new, but Mitti De Putt holds a very special place in my journey. It demanded emotional honesty more than anything else. Playing this character wasn't about being larger than life-it was about being truthful. That simplicity and authenticity made the role incredibly fulfilling, and I believe it has helped me grow both as an actor and as a person.

Q. The film brings together a talented ensemble, including Dev Kharoud, Sharan Kaur, Yograj Singh, and Mahabir Bhullar, under the direction of R. Malkana. What was the experience of collaborating with this team, and how did it shape the film?

Vikramjeet Virk: It was an absolute privilege. Dev Kharoud brings incredible intensity, Yograj Singh ji's experience is inspiring, Mahabir Bhullar ji adds immense depth, and Sharan Kaur brings freshness and sincerity to the film. Director R. Malkana had a very clear vision and created an environment where every actor could give their best. The teamwork, mutual respect, and passion on set have played a huge role in making this film what it is today.

Q. The first glimpse has already received a very positive response for its visuals and emotional intensity. What do you hope audiences take away from Mitti De Putt when they finally watch the film?

Vikramjeet Virk: More than anything, I hope audiences leave the theatre with a sense of pride, emotion, and connection. Mitti De Putt is a story about identity, courage, family, and belonging. If people laugh, feel emotional, and carry the film in their hearts even after the credits roll, we will have achieved what we set out to do. I sincerely hope this film resonates not only with Punjabis but with everyone who values their roots and the sacrifices that shape our lives.
