Rumours of Conor Murphy passing away at the age of 32 have literally taken over the internet. It all started with a report by a Thai outlet named Thairath, which alleged that fitness influencer Connor Murphy drowned in a lake at a luxury residential property in Bang Phli, Samut Prakan province in Thailand.

Reportedly, the tragic accident took place on July 7 (Tuesday). As of now, there is no confirmation of his death from his family. Fellow influencer Tony Hughes, who also happens to be Connor's friend, claimed that he was in Pattaya when he heard the news of Connor's death. He reportedly claimed that he had chatted with Connor before his death and he didn't sound depressed.

He further claimed that Murphy was living on a golf course property in Bangkok with a backyard lake and was focusing on golf along with his upcoming content. "It's literally on the water. His back balcony overlooks the water, as you can see from his Instagram and the things he posts. So, in the end, he drowned in his backyard lake. There are a lot more things that led up to that, but that is how he ended up passing away: drowning. Up until his passing, he believed he had achieved some superhuman abilities," he added.

According to reports by Thairath, the incident began when an American man, believed to be Connor Murphy, allegedly displayed unusual behavior near a residential area in Thailand. Witnesses claimed he arrived in a hired vehicle, paid the driver 1,000 baht, and then attempted to approach another resident's car. Locals reportedly saw him shouting, rolling on the road, and making prayer-like gestures, prompting concern among those nearby.

As per the same outlet, residents alerted police after finding his actions alarming. Witnesses later told authorities that he entered the water and continued swimming until he appeared visibly exhausted. They claimed he eventually disappeared beneath the surface, triggering an immediate search operation. Rescue divers reportedly recovered his body around 30 minutes later from water estimated to be over 10 metres deep. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
