Pranav Mohanlal, the young actor is joining hands with the multi-faceted talent Vineeth Sreenivasan for the latter's upcoming directorial venture Hridayam. The shooting of the highly anticipated project is currently put on hold due to the lockdown restrictions. As per the latest reports, the satellite rights of Hridayam are already sold.
According to the latest reports published by a popular online portal, the satellite rights of Hridayam are bagged by the popular media group Asianet for a whopping price. Even though the exact amount has not been revealed, the rumour mills suggest that it is the biggest amount for a movie that features a young actor like Pranav Mohanlal.
Reportedly, Vineeth Sreenivasan and his team members are planning to resume the shooting of Hridayam once the lockdown restrictions are lifted. The movie, which was originally slated to hit the theaters for Onam 2020, is now delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus threat. If things fall in place, Hridayam might get a release for the Onam season of 2021.
Coming to Hridayam, the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial, which is said to be a family drama, features Pranav Mohanlal as the central character. In a recent interview, the director has revealed that the star kid's role in the movie is a simple Malayali youth. Hridayam depicts the journey of the central character played by Pranav from the age of 17 to the early 30s. Kalyani Priyadarshan, the popular actress who made her Malayalam debut with Varane Avashaymund, and Darshana Rajendran appear as the female leads opposite Pranav Mohanlal in the movie. Anend C Chandran is the DOP. Newcomer Hesham Abdul Vahab composes the music. Hridayam is jointly produced by Visakh Subramaniam and Helen fame actor-writer Noble Babu Thomas, for the renowned banner Merryland Cinemas.
