Pallichattambi Plot

Set in the 1950s near the Kerala-Karnataka border, Pallichattambi follows Krishna Pillai, an orphan raised by an adoptive family after losing his parents. During Kerala's Liberation Struggle (Vimochana Samaram), he arrives in the village of Kaaniyar under the name Pothan Christopher, where rising political and religious tensions begin to shape the lives of its residents.

As Krishna Pillai becomes caught up in the conflict, he forms a bond with Rebecca, a young woman determined to build a school on her land. At the same time, people and events connected to his past resurface, forcing him to confront challenges that gradually unfold over the course of the story.

Pallichattambi Cast And Crew

The film is directed by Dijo Jose Antony and written by S. Suresh Babu. It has been produced by Noufal and Brijeesh under the banners World Wide Films and C Qube Bros, with CCC Brothers backing the project. Tijo Tomy handled the cinematography, while Sreejith Sarang served as the editor. The background score and songs are composed by Jakes Bejoy.

The technical team also includes Dileep Nath as production designer, Manjusha Radhakrishnan as costume designer, Rasheed Ahammed as makeup artist, and Action Sandhosh as the stunt director. The sound design was handled by Sync Cinema, with MR Rajakrishnan overseeing audiography.

Pallichattambi OTT Release Date And Platform

Pallichattambi will begin streaming on Sony LIV from July 24, 2026. The announcement was made through the platform's official social media handles, confirming that the film will be available not only in Malayalam but also in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, allowing it to reach viewers across multiple language markets.

With its OTT release, audiences who missed the film during its theatrical run, as well as those looking to revisit the period drama, will be able to stream it from the comfort of their homes later this month.
