She also alleged that Hadley had posted "rape fantasy" advertisements on Craigslist, which reportedly led multiple men to the couple's condominium. In June 2016, Michelle was arrested and was later released on bail. But then she went back to prison and had to spend 88 days in jail for a crime she didn't commit. Later in October 2017, she came out of jail after all the charges were dropped against her. Turns out, it was all planned against her by Ian-Angella and they had framed her. Later, Connell pleaded guilty and was sentenced to jail for 5 years. Diaz was convicted on federal charges in 2023 and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Yes. Ian Diaz remains behind bars and is currently serving a 10-year federal prison sentence after being convicted of cyberstalking, conspiracy, perjury, and obstructing a federal proceeding, as reported by a Netflix article. In January 2025, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld his convictions. According to Netflix, Angella, after coming out of jail, left California. On the other hand, Michelle started a new chapter after the jail scandal. She is now working in marketing, raising a young daughter, and advocating for survivors of domestic abuse.
